Book on Lt. Gen. Soleimani published in Turkish

‘The Haj Qassem I Know’, which is a book by Persian author Ali Shirazi, has recently been published in Turkish – ‘Benim Tanidigim Haci Kasim’.

Published by Turkish publishing house Feta in Istanbul, the 176-page book was translated by Aykut Pazarbasi.

The book narrates the author’s 40-year friendship with Iran’s national hero Lieutenant General Soleimani.

The work was unveiled at the commemoration of the 2nd anniversary of the martyrdom of Soleimani at the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Istanbul.

Lieutenant General Soleimani, the commander of Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the second-in-command of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), were assassinated by a US drone strike at Baghdad’s international airport on January 3, 2020.
